DAYTONA BEACH — A sandy piece of oceanfront property that has sat empty for 12 years could become the home of a Tex-Mex eatery that’s been a hit in Winter Park and another restaurant affiliated with Margaritaville that’s known for its fish tacos, thick burgers and drinks called Jolly Mon and Stranded on a Sandbar.
The hope is to open The Cocina 214 Mexican Restaurant & Bar and the LandShark Bar & Grill on a vacant site south of International Speedway Boulevard by next fall.
